University of the Philippines Ecological Society’s mangrove planting activity at Naga City, Cebu, as part of their celebration of Bioweek 2013.

Spent part of my birthday yesterday with a friend at Phoebe’s Cupcakery. We’ve been wanting to try it out but our schedules were to busy … so my birthday was the perfect excuse.

Visiting the place was such a breath of fresh air. It was so dainty but at the same time so relaxed with its pink on violet interiors, white beach tables and chairs, and the perfect curtains to tie it all together. Florals too! It was like the perfect place to escape from the busy city life, without leaving the city.

Pictured above are their best-seller Red Velvet Cupcake (Quick Q: When did the RVC craze started here in Cebu?) together with two of their blends, the Butter Berry and Caramel Frappe.

You can visit Phoebe’s Cupcakery at Paseo Saturnino, Maria Luisa Road, Banilad Cebu City. Just look for a small violet establishment at the right side of the road.
